Mission Statement

The mission of the Aerator and Fountain Manufacturers Association is to improve the practices and products used to maintain, enhance and beautify fresh water resources. By increasing the credibility , sophistication, image and safety of our Industry we can help the Market make better choices in the specification and purchase of aeration and fountain equipment and the management of our water resources.

Our efforts will focus on playing a primary role and providing leadership in these specific areas:

  • The selection, development, adoption and promotion of Safe Equipment Standards which will result in a safer product for our customers.

  • The development and adoption of uniform Peformance Test Standards that will provide the Market better means of determining product suitability.

  • The selection of Standards which are equitable to all Industry segments.

  • Education of the Market in aeration technology and water quality management.

  • The promotion of effective and environmentally friendly water quality managmenet practices.
